The companion DR 3000 VS software enables the instantaneous recording and analysis of torque, angle, speed plus other derivative parameters. All power and output signal connections are made via the single USB cable included with each sensor. The single cable enables fast and simple electrical installation.

Full scale ranges of the Lorenz DR 3000 USB Torque Sensor are from 0.5 to 1000N/m, shaft speeds for the lower torque ranges are up to 30,000rpm, measurement rates for all ranges are up to 2500 samples/second, and the resolution of the output signal is 16 bit. Common with many Lorenz torque and force transducers, each DR 3000 USB torque /angle /speed transducer has an embedded calibration factor to enable verification of the sensor data. The calibration is software controlled.
The DR 3000 VS evaluation software for the DR-3000 USB allows direct reading of the measured data into a text file in CSV Format through any USB port of a PC. This enables further analyses with a commercially available spreadsheet program at any time.
