The CAM FCE tray and lid forming machine forms and loads cardboard multipacks from two open blanks, with hot-melt gluing and speeds up to 20 cycles per minute.

Features

Forms and loads multipacks for packing, shipment and display of food and confectionery products, especially at hard-discount sales points.
Uses two open blanks loaded into two capacious magazines, with a centralised glue applicator.
Receives and collects products in the required quantity and arrangement. Places them on the first blank, forms a tray with high or shaped low edges using downward movement and hot-melt corner gluing, then transfers it horizontally to the lid-forming station, lifts it and shapes the second blank over it as a lid.
Additional hot-melt spots can reinforce the base and lid assembly if required.
Handles regular products such as sticks, small cartons, jars, bottles and ampoules, plus irregular or low-compactness products: pillow bags, Doypack bags and flat-bottom bags for powders and granulates displayed vertically; and flow-packed snacks and chocolate bars displayed flat or on edge.
Customised automatic product feeding and collation systems.
Uses compact or corrugated cardboard for a mono-material pack, with the most economical blank.
Cantilever structure provides operator access to mechanical movements on the front base. No closed structures or panels in the lower section, facilitating cleaning during and after operation.
Engines and main transmission gears are housed at the rear, separated from the working area.
Can handle packs outside the standard dimensional range, reaching speeds up to 20 cycles per minute.
