The unique feed system results in high speeds coupled with the benefits of a greater number of labels on each reel. The labels are supplied in wide-edge leading format which minimises the length of material to be fed for the side application of wraparound labelling.
After cutting the label from it's reel it is applied to the bottle on a standard wraparound conveyor.
A proven benefit of linerless labels is that, as there is no liner material, changeover time is reduced and breakage of liner material is eliminated, which is especially beneficial in high-speed operation.
Changeover is also easier, with no need to thread a take up reel. In addition there are no die cut issues which tend to be a problem on conventional pressure sensitive label applicators.
The LSL 400B does away with wasteful, non-recyclable siliconised liner material which makes it friendly to the environment.
The labels may be supplied in a range of weights and materials - including paper and polypropylene. Transparent labels can also be produced and applied. Round and square bottles are capable of being labelled at speeds of up to 180 per minute.
