Oil Water Separators for Wash Bays & Workshops

Supplier: Trade Environmental

1/2

Designed for wash bays and workshops, these oil water separators efficiently remove oils, fuels and hydrocarbons from wastewater, ensuring compliant discharge or reuse.

Enables compliant on-site treatment and discharge of oily wastewater, reducing long-term operating costs.

Oil water separators are essential equipment for any site where wash water or runoff contains oils, fuels, or hydrocarbons. Commonly used in wash bays, workshops, service depots, and industrial yards, these systems ensure wastewater is compliant with environmental regulations prior to discharge or reuse. They help businesses meet council and EPA requirements and significantly reduce the risk of environmental non-compliance.

Key Applications

Vehicle and equipment wash bays
Workshops and mechanical facilities
Fuel stations and refuelling areas
Industrial and transport depots
Sites requiring trade waste/sewer discharge compliance

Main Features & Benefits

Separates and removes oils, fuels, grease and hydrocarbons from water
Designed to meet local council and EPA discharge requirements
Offers site-specific system sizing for optimal performance
Made from weather-resistant materials suitable for outdoor installation
Reduces ongoing disposal and pump-out service costs
Enables legal on-site wastewater treatment and discharge under permit

The system operates by leveraging the difference in density between water and oil; contaminated water passes through coalescing tube packs, allowing oil droplets to rise, gather, and be separated. The cleaned water flows through baffles and filter bags for final polishing prior to discharge, while separated oil is retained for safe collection and disposal.
