Manual screen changers

6 models available from 25 to 120mm. Manual screen changers are suitable for any extrusion process which can tolerate momentary shutdown to change screens. A multi position handle allows operators better access to the screen changer from either side of the extruder.

Hydraulic screen changers

4 models available from 65 to 152mm. Suitable for operation up to 10,000 psi, pressure drops to 3,000 psi and processing temperatures up to 850 degrees F. Close coupling to the extruder is available with the standard built through extruder connection. Hydraulic screen changers are fully assembled and pre wired and require only a single temperature control unit. Pressure activated seals ensure leak free operation. A hydraulic power pack with accumulator ensures fast screen changeover with minimal interruption to the extrusion process.

Melt Pumps

Many models to choose from for 5 to 14,000 kg/hr and suitable for processing most thermoplastic materials. With a melt pump between your extruder and die you can directly dial in gauge control thus eliminating extruder surge and screw beat at the die. A positive displacement melt pump will efficiently build up pressure and meter the output of the polymer through the die. A closed loop control unit integrated with the extruder screw speed ensures an adequate amount of polymer is delivered to the pump regardless of inlet pressure variations due to extruder surge and beat. Melt pumps offer the perfect solution for sheet extrusion applications.

Crossheads for Wire and Cable
