Sheet Metal Bending & Folding

GSS can manufacture products in a variety of materials and thicknesses according to your specific design requirements in accordance with specified tolerances and drawings.

• Bending and folding is a common manufacturing process that can produce a V-shape, U-shape or channel shape along a give sheet or strip of metal.
• With the use of brake presses, products and components can be formed very efficiently.
• Depending on the radius of the bend, a punch die generally needs to be created to ensure the end result achieved is consistent and within tolerance. GSS creates all dies for our customers and manages this tooling throughout the life of the project.
• A work piece may undergo several processes or bending operations and will sometime require a series of different punch and die operations to create a desired bend/radius.
