The PDS Water Quality Monitoring Station (WQMS) is designed to provide organisations with an automatic means of continuously monitoring the water quality of ponds, streams, sewers, drains and watercourses.
The PDS Water Quality Monitoring Station is a stand-alone station which has your selection of water quality sensors cabled back to the logging device.
The power for the station is typically supplied by solar panels and rechargeable backup battery but can be supplied by other means such as 240VAC mains supply.
Communications to the station can be made either by direct connection (Ethernet, USB) with a PC or by Wi-Fi radio connection or other modems (GSM, 3G or satellite).
The Water Quality station comprises submersible in-situ water quality transmitters for each water quality parameter that is required to be monitored. These are connected to the control unit by cables which may be up to 100 metres in length.
The control unit containing the supervisory module, the data logger, the radio telemetry module (if required) and other accessories; all housed in a weatherproof IP65 enclosure.
The Water Quality station is a plug and play device requiring minimal expertise to install and configure in the field.
