The beauty of this product is that it can be extended to from any height up to 120m - without having to modify the original sections. For example, if you install a 100m mast with these sections and find the mast is not high enough, it can be extended up as high as 120m by simply adding sections and anchor points.
This mast section has an inbuilt ladder on 1 face, the section lengths have been designed at a length and weight which is easy to manhandle, on the ground during transport and during installation.
Features of Guyed Lattice Masts GL75 750mm Face
The sections are galvanized as standard but can also be over-coated in paint to suit any requirements.
A unique feature of our lattice mast range is that they can be built as a traditional stackable mast or (depending on the application and antenna load) they can also be built as a tilt up mast, meaning they can be built as one long unit on the ground and then raised up without having to climb or work at heights.
Masts can also be built from Galvanised steel or from long lasting 316 Stainless Steel
It is suitable for heights of up to 120m depending on the location, even in region C areas
The most cost effective installation method for a guyed mast is with the use of a gin pole and winch, although cranes and helicopters can also be used.
When obtaining quotes or choosing the location of your mast, please consider the following points which may greatly effect the cost of the installation:
Site access for heavy vehicles ie: concrete trucks, excavators?
Ground type ie: rocky, swampy, sandy?
Distance from hard usable track or road to mast site?
Mobile phone coverage
Seasonal weather activity
Australian Radio Towers | Masts and Towers
Australian Radio Towers is one of the only true end to end services providers in this country. Every aspect of the projects we undertake are carried out by true ART employees, not contractors, this includes:
Design (certifcation done by third party), Manufacture (towers, mast, huts and much more), Civil (site pre, foundations, fencing etc etc), Installation (green feild, brown feild, your products and our products), Commissioning & hand over, Maintenance, Installation of guyed lattice masts, free standing towers and all associated equipment, Wind monitoring equipment design, supply and installation, Mast supply and suitability assessment, Periodic maintenance advice and supervision
Maintenance contracts, Structural safety and engineering reports, Tender and price assessment, Sub-contract coordination, On-site contract supervision, Contract variation assessment, Safety inspections and procedure assessment, Accident / incident assessment, Procurement advice
The advantage of this approach is a true end to end service in the Telecommunication space that allows us complete control over everything from design, deployment to HSE. As the managing director/owner of ART, I personally know everyone of our growing workforce and the word ZERO HARM has more meaning to me than just the legal implications, its personal. This means when you engage ART for a project, every person that turns up to you site been employed by me, not some person in the HR department and as the nature of our game is HIGH RISK, I am careful who I employ. The biggest difference between our work and many other industries is that our job is ALWAYS high risk....everyday.
