Efficient Compaction: BOMAG BMP8500 Trench Compactor

The BOMAG BMP8500 is an articulated, radio-controlled, multi-purpose compactor designed to reach places that operators can't or would rather avoid. With radio remote control, you maintain full control over both the machine and your work site. Weighing approximately 1.6 tons, this versatile compactor delivers exceptional compaction results on soil in trenches, sewers, and pipeline construction.

Specially engineered for earthworks, the BMP8500 is perfect for compaction on cohesive soils in trenches, backfills, sewer and pipeline construction, as well as sub-structural and foundation work.

Key Features:

Removable Drum Extension with Pad Feet: The working width can be easily adjusted between 610mm and 850mm with standard drum extensions, making it ready for trench use in minutes. An optional smooth drum is available for superior surface quality without pad footprints, ideal for sandy materials.
ECONOMIZER Technology: Unique to BOMAG, the ECONOMIZER is integrated into the hood for easy visibility and protection. It helps the operator achieve optimal compaction by automatically tracking progress. This eliminates the need for manual activation or calibration, identifies weak spots in the subsoil, and prevents unnecessary passes, saving up to 25% in time while avoiding costly reworking.

The BOMAG BMP8500 ensures efficient and precise compaction with minimal effort, making it an ideal choice for demanding trench and pipeline applications.
