The stabilisation plant (ion exchange) with automatic resin columns has been manufactured:
Eliminate the potassium and calcium from wine.
Lower the pH of juice (blending the treated portion with the bulk and reducing dramatically Tartaric Acid additions).
The multi-way valve is the core of the automation (operating for 24 hours) of this unit. On-line mixing section between treated and untreated wine, which ensures the absence of contact with air and the precision of desired blending. Treatment is usually conducted by blending 15 to 25% of the total volume, but the whole tank can also be treated.
Plant can be supplied with 1 or 2 columns. Units with 2 columns can be set up to be dedicated for red and white wines or both all at the discretion of the operator.
