Headwall Photonics - Hyperspectral Imaging System | Hyperspec MV-X Spectral Imaging System

The Hyperspec MV-X offers industry-leading spectral imaging capabilities, integrating a high-performance spectrometer with embedded computing for actionable, real-time results. This powerful system is specially designed for challenging VNIR (400-1000 nm) machine vision applications, particularly on processing lines in the food, agriculture, and industrial sectors.

• Not just a camera – it’s a complete hyperspectral imaging system with embedded, fast onboard processing for real-time classification.
• GenICam-compliant GigE interface housed in an IP67-rated enclosure for robust industrial use.
• Remote web interface for system control and maintenance.
• Utilises machine learning and AI-powered perClass® MIRA software for intuitive model development and runtime analytics.
• Compact, rugged, and lightweight design with aberration-corrected, wide field of view.

• Hyperspectral Line-Scanning: The system collects reflected light via a slit, capturing one row of spatial pixels per frame. Each pixel contains full spectral data, forming an X, Y, and wavelength hyperspectral data cube.
• Concentric Imaging: Uses engineered holographic diffraction gratings and mirrors for high signal-to-noise ratio, high spectral and spatial resolution, and wide, corrected field of view.

• Foreign object and contamination detection
• Sorting and grading of materials
