High Speed Efaflex Insulating doors

With the development of fast action doors, DMF can offer an Efaflex model that comprises high speed and high insulation. Two door technologies have been combined in a single, innovative system solution: The Efaflex SST Premium range is based on the multiple patented rapid spiral door.

Features:

• Equipped with a high insulation door blade from thermally separated laths, a K-factor of at least 0.5 W/m2K is available.
• The seals between laths prevent unwanted air or temperature exchanges.
• The SST is therefore the ideal high speed door for high trafficked openings, e.g. in controlled temperature logistics, refrigerated areas, or in conventional industrial applications, if a demanding insulation is required.
• A high speed action of up to 1.5 m/s and very low wear door blade qualifies the Efaflex SST as a professional single door solution.
• The construction is designed for at least 150,000 operations per annum.
• Full safety sensors are standard to ensure operator and vehicular safety in use.

The 40,60 or 100mm thick door panel is provided with a thermally separated, wear free, double sealing lip to the frame. This excludes unwanted air or temperature exchanges over the whole door design. At the same time it provides effective finger protection which even now meets all European Standards. The securing of the door closing point is achieved by means of a safety contact strip or through an opto-electronic infra-red light grid in the side frames.
