8464 Parcel Sorter

Parcels are received from three packing stations. The parcels are conveyed at a rate of 60/min past a barcode scanner. The system reads the barcodes and interrogates the customer's database to determine the destination of the parcel. Based on this information the sorter lowers the appropriate conveyor to deliver the parcel into the correct bin destination (8 bins).
