Abdex are one of the largest suppliers of Thermoplastic Sewer Jetting Hose Assemblies for commercial drain cleaning applications, supplying OEM's, distributors and End Users throughout the UK, Europe, and Australia.
The ESH hose is especially designed for the arduous conditions in which it works.
It consists of a unique inner tube providing maximum hydrolysis resistance.
The high tensile synthetic fibre reinforcement contributes to an exceptionally low volumetric expansion and eliminates loss of strength from moisture absorption.
A polyurethane cover provides exceptional abrasion and fungus resistance.
All components are bonded to maximize fitting retention and allow a very small minimum bend radius.
The new ESH250 - Canal Jet sewer cleaning hose combines the advantages of the ESH hose with the features that were originally associated with rubber hose.
The Canal Jet hose has outstanding abrasion and cutting resistance. It is also kink resistant which makes it easier to handle and provides a far longer service life. This hose can be used as leader hoses or full-length jetting assemblies, (up to 350mtrs).
All assemblies are proof pressure tested. Hose working pressure is 3600psi (250bar) and is red in colour.
Bore sizes range from 3/8" up to 1 ¼".
Large quantities of each size are stocked.
Various colours on ESH are available along with private company brand at no extra cost.
Orders received before 3.30pm can be despatched for next day delivery.
Abdex | Hoses & Couplings
Established in 1974 in the UK Abdex Hose & Couplings Ltd has progressively evolved into a leading specialist manufacturer of high and low pressure hose assemblies. During the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Abdex predominately supplied the commercial vehicle industry with low and medium pressure Goodyear rubber hose assemblies and accessories.
Large volumes of air brake, power steering, cab tilt and clutch pipe assemblies were supplied to the leading British manufacturers of Heavy Goods Vehicles. In 1999 Abdex expanded into new markets using high pressure thermoplastic hose. Since then, Abdex has become a volume producer of assemblies for the beverage, 700 bar hydraulics and water jetting markets.
In 2005 Abdex started working with Parker Hannifin and soon became a major specialist distributor for Parker Polyflex products in the UK & Europe. In 2006, we were certified by Parker to assemble their ultra high pressure hoses with working pressures up to 40,000psi (2800bar). Also in 2005, Abdex Industries in Melbourne Australia was established to service the growing customer base in Asia and Australia in the mining and offshore industries. Today they manufacture and distribute high and ultra high pressure hose assemblies up to 3000bar, together with stainless steel fittings and adaptors.
