The xiC camera series from Ximea is a highly diversified and modular camera designed for the Sony Pregius™ sensor series. This device includes the newest CMOS sensors from Sony such as IMX174, IMX252, IMX250, IMX255 and IMX253. It comes in a range of resolutions between 2.3 Megapixels to 12.4 Megapixels with Pregius™ technology. Camera Models consisting of a 2.3 Megapixel resolution operate at speed of 165 fps, whilst camera models with a resolution of 12.4 Megapixels acquire at 41 fps.

Measuring only 26.4 x 26.4 x 33mm and weighing in at 38 grams, these cameras are fully featured and represent excellent value versus performance. It offers multiple choices for combining sensors and interfaces, and its small size makes it ideal for system integration for small and/or mobile applications and robotics. Various connection technologies are compatible with xiC including Type-C, Micro-B and flat-ribbon. xiC supports Windows, Linux, ARM, Mac OSX and a range of Libraries.
