Stratex Heatshield range of products are specifically designed to exceed British Standards (BS) safety requirements for Insulation materials. Typically a composite of reinforced polymers, foil, and paper, the Heatshield range is exceptionally strong and has excellent thermal insulation properties.
Heatshield 730 is a nine layer, fire retardant, double sided foil laminate, which has been reinforced with 5mm x 5mm fibreglass bonded scrim and provides optimum strength and stiffness for use either as reflective foil sarking and insulation membrane or for facing to other forms of bulk insulation.
It will meet the requirements of most demanding applications. This product is manufactured using foils, high strength kraft papers and reinforced with two direction fibreglass scrim.
The whole structure has been bonded together using multi layers of waterproof polymetic adhesive. This product is suitable for most applications requiring high strength and good puncture resistance.
Features of Building & Insulation - Heatsheild 730:
Heatshield 730, when used with a minimum off 25mm air space is an effective thermal insulating barrier, because of the high reflectivity and low emissivity of the foil surfaces.
Heatshield 730 designed with aluminium foil and co-polymer resins, prevent ingress of liquid water, and offers very low water vapour permeance, and will prevent damage from minor roof leaks.
Heatshield 730 has a high light reflectivity. When installed in buildings as an exposed internal roof lining, the reflectivity of the ceiling is increased by up to 35%.
Heatshield 730 is high strength heavy weight premium product which provides adequate strength and puncture for most demanding applications.
