Applied as a surface veneer or soil stabiliser, the Gluon™ polymer bonds upon hydration creating a surface mesh and binding the soil/ore. The bonding chain remains stable and flexible, to fix soil in place. Gluon™ Water Erosion Control Applications generate a tighter rolled surface which create low permeability skins to prevent water erosion.
Why use Gluon™ ?
Independently verified to deliver outstanding performance for veneering (ask us for report details).
Achieves zero dust lift off at 20 metres/second in wind tunnel testing.
Rainstorm warranty Gluon™ applications.
We supply dye marking options, batching guides and site procedures OR on-site application services by our experienced team.
Product development to suit client/project requirements – choose long term veneering control (6 to 12 months) or short term low cost veneering (30 to 60 days – extremely valuable for ore stockpiles requiring wind protection before shipment).
Easy to apply for large or small projects – we batch Gluon™ to suit your project size and type.
Gluon™ dries to a clear coat, detectable by touch, but can be combined with dye markers to colour code application areas, a useful tool to manage open area applications. Natural soil colour will influence dye colour selection – green is most common for lighter coloured soils, but brown, blue and black are also options. Application frequency can then be monitored visually by colour tone.
