Features of this product

Columns are made from coil steel that is passed through a rollformer. The steel is formed in to the required section shapes whilst cold. Hence the name cold-rolled steel sections. An extra heavy duty style of Cantilever column is also available. It is made from structural steel section. A series of holes are punched up each side of the column to provide adjustability with arm positions.
Arms play a very important part of the Cantilever Racking structure. A series or group of arms in close proximity to one another and on the same level creates an individual Cantilever shelf for long products to lay on. Almost any length of product can be stored by changing the number of support arms and their horizontal spacing.
Arms are not designed to be perfectly horizontal. They have a slight slope of up to 5 degrees. This slope goes upwards slightly from the column end of the arm to the end or tip of the arm. It is done this way to help prevent products from sliding or rolling off. Arm Pins are an accessory that aids in this also.
At the end of each arm is a U-shaped section that is welded almost perpendicular to the arm. This U-shaped section is sized so that it just fits around the width of each column. A hardened steel arm pin inserts through both sides of the U-shaped section and through the holes in the column.
