Long lasting tungsten carbide blades are tensioned via individual rubber torsion elements that allow each blade to deflect away from obstructions as required. These rubber elements also aid in tensioning the blades to the belt, minimising the need to re-tension for the life of the blade. Combine this with a +/-10° pivot means each blade can adapt to the changing contour of a belt to maximise cleaning efficiency and blade life. Finally, the blades are offset and overlap to ensure total belt cleaning.
