Overview

• Combines industry-leading imaging hardware with self-learning software for reliability, repeatability and throughput.

Specifications

AI-driven inspection

• AI and machine learning automatically learn process values from assembled and reflowed PCBs and identify defects using hundreds of parameters, reducing reliance on extensive manual programming.
• AI fully manages solder-joint inspection, analysing joint shapes, pad designs and component types.
• Continually learns from process tolerances and past results, achieving near-zero false-call rates while maintaining optimal defect detection.
• Engineers can fine-tune parameters where required.

Imaging and 3D coverage

• Advanced telecentric optics, multi-angle lighting and Moiré fringe projection provide precise height and volume measurement.
• The field of view, described as the biggest in its class, captures fine solder joints and larger components such as connectors in a single image, minimising camera movement and reducing inspection cycle time.
• Side-view cameras support hidden-joint analysis and full 3D PCB coverage.

Programming and integration

• Complete offline programming and debugging using full 3D board profiles allows inspection programs to be built and optimised away from the production line, minimising downtime.
• Parameters can be updated instantly on the inline system through a network connection.
• Integrates with repair and traceability systems such as FIBER for complete process control and data visibility across the SMT line.
• Programmable process parameters with recipe storage and an intuitive operator interface.
• Standard data output interfaces support process monitoring, statistical reporting and traceability.

Construction and applications

• Robust mechanical and electrical construction for extended service life.
• Comprehensive safety interlocks and alarm functions.
• Service access minimises planned maintenance downtime and enables rapid fault diagnosis.
• Configurable and programmable for specific process requirements, from small-batch laboratory operations to high-volume continuous production.
• Applications include electronics manufacturing, semiconductor processing, precision industrial production, scientific research and development, and specialised manufacturing processes.
