Low false-call rate

Specification	Value
Model	MEK ISO-Spector M2
System type	inline 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) system

Purpose-built for high-volume SMT PCB assembly lines, with precise component and solder-joint measurement.
Simultaneous 2D and 3D inspection for comprehensive defect detection, combining multi-angle 2D imaging with advanced 3D measurement technology.
Advanced optics with multi-angle LED illumination for shadow-free imaging.
Intelligent programming with automatic component library generation.
Low false-call rate with AI-assisted defect classification.
Detects missing components, incorrect polarity, tombstoning, bridging, insufficient and excessive solder, component shift, and lifted leads.
3D height measurement engine verifies component coplanarity and solder joint volume.

High-throughput inline design compatible with standard SMT conveyor systems; supports SMEMA and standard conveyor interfaces.
Real-time SPC data output for process monitoring and traceability.
Connects directly to Proftek’s MEK Catch traceability platform for full board-level traceability and closed-loop process feedback.
Standard data output interfaces for process monitoring, statistical reporting, and traceability.

Configurable and programmable to match specific process requirements, scaling from small-batch laboratory operations to high-volume continuous production environments.
Programmable process parameters with recipe storage.
Intuitive operator interface.
Robust mechanical and electrical construction for extended service life.
Comprehensive safety interlocks and alarm functions.
Designed-in service access to minimise planned maintenance downtime and enable rapid fault diagnosis.
