The WEINIG SOLID PROFILE P 1500 planing machine / moulder offers outstanding ease of use, Comfort Set wrench-free adjustments and automatic workpiece monitoring.

Outstanding ease of use

Innovative machine technology, high production accuracy and a high level of work safety.
Modular design, with extras for adapting the machine to individual requirements and challenging applications, including processing beyond solid wood.
Comfort Set operating concept: quick, accurate, wrench-free adjustments for pressure and guiding elements.
Automatic workpiece monitoring detects whether material is inside the machine, allowing dimensional changes while running and saving operating time.

PowerLock: precision tooling and spindles with true running accuracy; enables rapid retooling for glazing bead profiling.
PowerCom PLUS: high-performance, simple management and work organisation for the SOLID PROFILE P 1500.
Pressure roller moving with the left spindle: pressure elements and guides support smooth, safe workpiece guidance.
Variohood: pressure elements and extraction hood adjust to each tool’s cutting circle for comfortable setup and secure guidance.
WEINIG System Plus: interconnecting system modules turn the machine into a highly efficient machining centre to increase productivity.

Pallet production: a jumping spindle moves into and out of the workpiece, timed by precise measurement. Operators define chamfer length and position. Exact measurement and the dynamic spindle maintain consistent chamfer lengths and positions, with equally long dip-in and move-out distances.
