SOLID SCAN 5000 High-speed Woodworking Scanner

The LuxScan SOLID SCAN T 5000 is a high-speed scanner with AI technology and precise defect detection for automatic sorting or ripping of dry and wet boards or sawn timber.

Very high scanning speed

Very high scanning speed, precise defect detection and robust performance for automatic sorting or ripping in demanding, high-output production lines.
Detects both dry and wet boards or sawn timber in cross-feed, enabling higher speeds than longitudinal feed.
Detects black knots, holes, bark, wane and blue stain discolorations in various wood types.
Supports strength grading according to EN 14081, with standard-compliant detection of all relevant wood features that is precise, reproducible and process-safe.

The sensor package with AI technology achieves significantly better results than manual marking and surpasses conventional scanner systems in performance.
Completely eliminates labour-intensive manual marking while wood defects continue to be reliably and accurately ripped or sorted.
Reduces personnel requirements while maintaining consistently high or increasing product quality.
Supports production of numerous qualities and product variants in parallel, without conversion effort and at very high speed.
Provides very fast, efficient throughput alongside precise automatic defect detection.
