The mechanical arm picks up a carton from the carton magazine integrated in the machine. The carton is opened and, while it is firmly held by the suction cup group, movements close the lower side and front / rear flaps. This type of manipulation allows to work even “display cartons” with weak carton faces with extreme precision. The cardboard is then transferred to the next station: here a group of motorized lateral belts move the cardboard for a correct application of the lower adhesive tape by means of a taping head. The cardboard open only on the top is then ejected.
