IRIA provides Warehouse Racking Safety Training for all levels of staff from the machine handling equipment (MHE) operator to supervisor to the senior manager responsible for the oversight of multiple racked sites.

The training educates staff on operating safely in and around racking structures and on how to support a safe working environment. It provides the skills required to assess the condition of the racking and oversee the safe operation of rack assets.

Course: IRIA 101 - Introduction to Racking Safety

This course is designed to take users through the basic elements associated with working in and around racking. Upon completion users will understand a range of key concepts that will ensure they can safely work around any racking system.

Course: IRIA 102 - Racking Safety Management Overview 

This course is designed for managers and supervisors who manage racking systems as part of their daily work routine. Users who complete this course will understand a range of concepts that will support their need to effectively manage a racking system. 

Recommended for warehouse supervisors and managers of racking

Course: IRIA 103 - Installing and Repairing Racking Systems 

After completion you will be able to identify the key theoretical elements associated with racking systems and how they should be installed and repaired.

Recommended for key staff who complete site fitouts and maintenance.

Course: IRIA 104 - Installing and Repairing Shelving Systems

After completion you will be able to identify the key theoretical elements associated with shelving systems and how they should be installed and repaired.

Recommended for key staff who complete site fitouts and maintenance.

Course: IRIA 105 – Completing Weekly Inspections 

This course is designed to help safety representatives and operational staff that work with steel storage racking to complete a weekly racking check. Weekly racking checks are part of the safety culture within many businesses and is mandatory in many jurisdictions. 

Recommended for safety representatives and operational staff.

Course: Hands on training, face to face Group Training

This method of delivery is recommended for managers and supervisors where racking is part of their daily work/management responsibility (logistics/warehouse/maintenance)

The group size can range from 10 – 15 staff at your preferred location/s and takes approximately 2 hours to deliver including classroom and practical work.
