PerMix PNA Conical Screw Mixer

The PerMix PNA Conical Screw Mixer is a batch mixer offering gentle mixing, minimal heat generation and accurate mixing homogeneity, with shaft sealing above the product to prevent cross contamination.

Free of cross contamination

Batch mixing with minimal product distortion, minimal heat generation and very accurate mixing homogeneity.
Suitable for delicate, heat-sensitive products or products tending to segregate.
Uses gravity to generate significant downward massflow, saving energy compared with a horizontal mixer.
Shaft sealing and bearing are above the working area, without product contact, preventing contamination during mixing.
Low minimum volume required.
Complete discharge of materials.
Easy machine cleaning.
Gentle mixing for fragile and friction-sensitive materials.
Free of cross contamination with shaft sealing above the product.

Laboratory size for R&D: skid-mounted on casters, with a manually dismantled mixing vessel.
Single, double or triple screw configurations for different mixing intensities.
Top-mounted spray nozzle for adding liquid into powder.
Jacketed vessel for heating/cooling using steam, thermal oil or water; optional ASME/PED certificate for high-pressure operation.
Vacuum mixer dryer configuration for vacuum drying and deaerating, or inner-pressure operation for special applications.
Lifting and lowering of the top assemblies together with the mixing screw(s) to ease cleaning and maintenance.
Flush-fitting sampling unit for manual sampling.
Contact-part construction in Carbon steel, 55304, SS316/316L, Titanium, Duplex stainless steel or Hastelloy.
For abrasive materials, hardened steel contact parts or coated mixing elements.

Processing in food, pharmaceuticals, chemical, plastics, pigments and coatings, metals & minerals industries.
Gentle mixing of free-flowing powders, pastes and slurry.
Coating of solid mass and powdery product.
Moistening of powders.
Granulating of fine powders.
Drying of wet powders, pastes and slurry with vacuum and liquid recovery.
