MCR Counter-rotating Agitator

The MCR counter-rotating agitator mixes and homogenises medium- and high-viscosity products. Its hygienic design is suitable for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food products.

Mixing and homogenisation of medium- and high-viscosity products, including products whose viscosity changes throughout the process.
Rotation speed can be modified at different stages using a variable frequency drive.
Very suitable for heat exchange processes; the scraper anchor helps homogenise temperature during heat transfer.

Two coaxial shafts connect to two geared motors rotating in opposite directions.
The central shaft rotates at higher speeds, with propellers optimised for dispersion and mixing during low-viscosity phases.
The outer shaft connects to an anchor with scrapers that homogenise the product and remove it from tank walls, preventing overheating and allowing faster, more homogeneous heat transfer.
At low product viscosity, the anchor also acts as a deflector for the central propellers.
Configurable across a wide range of powers and turning speeds for application versatility.
