Sterilisation of Liquid and Low-viscosity Food Products

Supplier: Inoxpa

1/2

Sterilisation equipment for liquid and low-viscosity food products, featuring an aseptic high-pressure homogeniser, aseptic tank and vacuum deaerator.

Aseptic, high-pressure homogeniser

Specification	Value
Parts in contact with the product	AISI316L
Control cabinet	AISI 304
Skid, frames and supports	AISI 304
Gaskets in contact with the product	EPDM or Silicone
Pumps’ mechanical seals	C/SiC/EPDM
Surface finish	Ra = 0,8 µm

Aseptic, high-pressure homogeniser evenly disperses fat globules and/or fine solid particles contained in the product, reducing the risk of phase splitting and sedimentation in the packages.

Buffer tank serves the aseptic filler while maintaining product sterility.
Steam-sterilisation of the tank before introducing the product guarantees product sterility. Overpressure then prevents contaminants from entering from outside.
An agitation system keeps the product stirred and guarantees homogeneity.
Aseptic tanks can also be offered as individual equipment, designed to operate separately from the UHT line in fully automated mode.

Vacuum deaerator for integration into the UHT skid removes undesirable gases that cause unpleasant odour and oxidation.
Aromatic fractions separated during deaeration can be recovered through condensation and reintroduced into the product.
